Dr. Johnston is a native of Dublin, Ohio, who knew he wanted to work in medicine since he was a teenager. After having the opportunity to shadow his childhood dentist, he realized that dentistry was his future.
Dr. Johnston earned his undergraduate degree at Ohio State University before attending OSU's College of Dentistry, earning his DDS in 2011. He got his start as a dentist in Columbus, where he practiced for five years.
Dr. Johnston met Dr. Stephen Curran at the Ohio Dental Association Annual Meeting in 2016. The dentists learned they had a similar approach and philosophy when it comes to dentistry. At that time, Dr. Curran was searching for someone to take over his Anderson Township practice and continue providing outstanding care to the greater Cincinnati area. In July 2017, Dr. Johnston assumed leadership of the practice Dr. Curran established, continuing the same focus on patient satisfaction.

Finally getting over fears of the dentist after being here every three months for almost a year. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Dr Johnston is great. He’s knowledgeable and asks what you want to do and shows you all your options versus pushing on the most expensive option only. He also uses make use of a lot of new technology, making visits much easier and not as painful. Very pleasant surprise to not need a mold to get fitted for a night guard!
